Better Omega-3 is made to be shelf-stable, so temporary exposure to warmth in a delivery truck or mailbox normally won't harm it. A few things protect it: the omega-3 is fully sealed inside a carrageenan-free softgel, we include organic mixed tocopherols (Vitamin E) as a built-in antioxidant to slow oxidation, and algae oil starts out clean and pure, which helps it hold up. Sustained or extreme heat over long periods could gradually reduce freshness and potency, but a temporary spell of warmth during transit isn't that.

Once your order arrives, just bring it indoors and store it in a cool, dry spot out of direct sun.
